There are many takeaways when we start to think about our relation to our creativity and the art that we are producing. We are able to express ourselves with our art, speak truths, hidden moments, love, joy, fear - so many of our emotions can be demonstrated through the arts.

Art Courses for 2021 - Are you Ready
We have some great courses lined up for you for next year and some of you would have been able to sample some sessions on one of the courses. There are some great prices and I will share below where you can make some savings.
I am really pleased to be teaching on all of the courses and some of the lessons that I will be bringing are varied and one of the things that I plan to do over the next month is to help you get ready by sharing free process videos so that you can dip your feet in and have something to do while you wait.
I shared recently about Creative JumpStart which brings together 45 teachers who will give you tips and ideas when you only have a short amount of time and you want to get something done. All the lessons on this course are under 10 minutes and a great way to get you going. There will be giveaways and you are able to download all the lessons for your continued use.
One BADASS Art Journal is open for registration and available at the discount price for the whole of December of $69 after that it goes up to $89. You are taught by an amazing group of teachers. All the videos are downloadable and the course runs from 1st February to the 31st May and then it becomes a self directed course. It is going to be a lot of fun!! You can sign up HERE.

After 31 Art Journals What is next?
I really enjoyed sharing with you the 31 Art Journals Series, it took a lot out of me but I think that it was important for me to show up for myself and you on a regular consistent basis, are you showing up for yourself? Your art journal page is a good reminder of your journey and how far you have come.
You were able to see a selection of the collection of art journals that I had created and worked in. How many of the 31 Art Journals did you see? Did you have a favorite, have you gone out and tried a few. I had a lot of fun sharing the art Journals, there were even some that I hadn't seen in a while and it was great to revisit their pages.
So you may be asking what now, after all those journals it would be great to see how some of the pages are used. As promised I will be taking a page from some of the journals and creating on them or finishing pages, so there will be lots to see. The way that I use my journals varies. Some to record ideas, work through a particular issue that I wanted to express on the page or just have fun and play.
Some of the art journals were part of a course that I had either taken or taught in, but in each art journal I have left a page or two or more for some so that I could create in it when the mood took me. Your style might have changed over time but it is still a great idea to be able to see what you would do with a particular theme you may have in your journal.
I think one of my favorite journals over the 31 Journals was my Gratitude's and Celebrations art journal
I will be taking you through weekly art journal pages with a hope to spark your creativity further, and will be creating some 'how-to' videos so that you can learn how to make your own journals mainly from recycled and up-cycled materials.
I am so looking forward to taking you on the weekly art journal journey with me for creating pages. The video will be out on Friday on my YouTube channel, would love to have you there.

31 Art Journals - Art Journal page - Backgrounds Bonus!
Whether you have loads of yummy supplies or you don't you can always find supplies to suit your budget.
I took a trip to my local supermarket and found a cheap paint kit for kids that came with brush, roller, 3 primary colour poster paints, foam stamps a mixing bowl and brush holder all for £4. I got an additional paints that were pearlised and cost £1 each. You can even pick up larger packets of poster paint and these are especially good if your working on recycled materials and want to create several layers.
There are also cheaper brands that you can use when you are experimenting, and even with these you can get some really interesting results.
You can also use gesso and stencils to give you texture on your pages and instead of a brush you can use an old credit card to apply the paint to the paper.
Take a look at the video as I go through the steps. I hope that you are able to pick up some useful hints and tips and look forward to seeing you next week for another series of Art Journals.
Stay blessed and be a blessing.
